Cook with us!  Enjoy all of the benefits of coming to a cooking class—a hands-on class taught by two Red Seal Chefs—but in the comfort of your own home!  While cooking with us we’ll go through every recipe, step-by-step, answering all of your key questions: the WHY’s, HOW’S and HOW MUCH and HOW LONG questions. 


Tonight's Theme:  a Thai-themed supper designed for 4 people.  From addictive curry flavours to a shrimp appetizer you will make over and over!  Once you have the pantry staples down, you'll be able to whip this up faster than you can call take-out!

Chili Lime Shrimp Appetizer

Thai Coconut Chicken & Vegetable Curry

Green Mango & Peanut Salad

Jasmine Rice

 

Shopping List: (Highlighted/Underlined items are included in our Pick-up Ingredient Pack) .  Pick-up 2pm at Culinary Studio on same day of class.  Zoom Code emailed the day of the class.  

 

Produce:

1 green or regular mango

½ English cucumber

½ bunch fresh mint

½ bunch fresh cilantro

1 shallot

1 onion

2 –inch piece of fresh ginger

2 cloves garlic

3 limes

1/2 bunch Thai Basil

1/2 bunch cilantro 

 

Vegetables: have 2-4 of the following:

1 carrot, 1 zucchini, 1 cup mushrooms, 1 small eggplant, 1 cup green beans, ½ head cauliflower, ½ cup corn….

 

Protein:

1 ½ lb boneless skinless chicken thighs

shrimp- 8 large

½ cup peanuts

 

 

Pantry:

1 tsp. chili garlic paste

2 tbsp. fish sauce

2 tbsp. frozen lemongrass

1 puck palm sugar

1 tsp. green curry paste

1 can coconut milk

10 kaffir lime leaves

1 1/2 cups jasmine rice

3 tsp. sugar

oil, as needed

kosher salt, as needed
